In this interview with Selina Frei, you will discover more about the professional career modules offered by HSG Alumni and how they can support you in your next career step. Then our career assessment is just right for you. Because only when you know what you can do and what you want, you can optimally position yourself in the job market.
Based on the scientifically proven Insights MDI® analysis, which provides insights into your strengths and weaknesses, your preferred behaviours, and your motivators, you will develop your positioning. You will define your core competencies and discover what motivates you. From these insights, you will derive your career goals.
At the end of Module 1a, your positioning and career goals will be reviewed and discussed in a reality check by a job market expert.
Duration: Individual (usually about 4 – 8 weeks)

After the positioning assessment, the next module focuses on how to ideally present yourself in the job market.
To optimally prepare for your market entry, you will train your written and oral communication skills. Based on your positioning and career goals, you will create a professional resume, optimize your social media presence (LinkedIn), and develop your action plan. This plan will also be reviewed by a job market expert. At the same time, you will learn how to present yourself effectively with your Unique Selling Proposition (USP), your 90-second pitch, and your specific bridge stories.
Duration: Individual (usually about 3 – 6 weeks)
Cost: CHF 1500
Content: 1 x 150 minutes LinkedIn workshop; 3 x 90 minutes of consulting with preparation and follow-up; 1 x 90 minutes action plan check; various work materials for support.
After preparing for the job market in modules 1a and 1b, it's time for the actual market entry.
We will get you ready for interviews through training sessions and prepare you specifically for targeted discussions. Additionally, we will train and support your networking activities and help you refine your job search strategy and put your action plan into practice. If you need to complete an assessment center, preparation for that will also be included. The five consulting sessions can be tailored significantly to meet your needs.
Duration: Individual (usually 8 – 24 weeks)

Content: 5 x 90 minutes of consulting with preparation and follow-up; 2 x 90 minutes of job hunting sessions; various work materials for support.
The final module offers comprehensive support in searching for a new challenge, building on the previous modules. This includes unlimited touchpoints with the senior advisor and the labor market expert, who will support you based on what you have learned in the earlier modules.
We will cater to your individual needs and support you until you find a new position or start your own business. Additionally, we provide onboarding support in your new position to ensure you have the best possible start.
Duration: Individual (unlimited, "until landing")
Cost: CHF 2500 + CHF 3000 success fee
Content: Unlimited consultations and touchpoints; support until success; onboarding assistance.
