Since 2023, the HSG Alumni Engagement Award has honoured an individual every year for their commendable work on behalf of the University of St.Gallen. The prize is endowed with CHF 5000.
The first HSG Alumni Engagement Award goes to Urs Landolf, former President of HSG Alumni, Honorary Senator of the University of St.Gallen and Delegate of the Board of Trustees of the HSG Foundation. The award honours his outstanding services to the University and HSG Alumni.
The HSG Alumni Engagement Award honours people who are involved in the community. Students, alumnae and alumni, faculty members, HSG employees or external persons can win the award. The honoured person passes on the prize money to another institution in the HSG network that has not previously received support from HSG Alumni. This strengthens the HSG ecosystem.
As a member of the HSG community, you can nominate a person for the HSG Alumni Engagement Award 2024 until 31 March 2024 who, in your opinion, has been particularly committed to our community. You can nominate several people. The HSG Alumni Board, in collaboration with the President's Office and the HSG student body, will draw up a shortlist of three names from all nominations by mid-April. The HSG Alumni club presidents then choose the person to be honoured. The result will be announced at the end of May.
